Together with our partners from the Embedded4You network, we have developed a compact HIL system consisting of modules and components from these partners as a cost-efficient and space-optimized solution for a developer work place. The iSyTester allows for the abstraction of target hardware through RST GmbH’s Gamma V and as such enables hardware scaling from small ARM9 systems to Intel i7 solutions. The automated testing is controlled and visualized via Python and a touchscreen with our partner XiSys GmbH graphic user interface XiBase 9. The system is implemented on our partner N.A.T. GmbH’s µTCA platform and connected to the DUT through iSyst signal conditioning. The iSyTester is also controllable with iTestStudio. This means that tests already created can be easily transferred from other platforms.
