iSPIsim was developed as a stand-alone module (e.g. simulation of an A/D changer) for the simulation of SPI interfaces. It allows for peripherals to be connected to a microcontroller whereby several microcontrollers can be interconnected. As a result, very high data transfer rates are achieved as the clock signal can reach the MHz range. Data transmission takes place safely in both directions i.e. full duplex.


The iSPIsim is connected directly to the SPI bus in the customer application using short cable routes. The iSPIsim is controlled via CAN.
