Especially in the beginning and during the foundational phase we met and were supported by people who believed in the "iSyst idea". To this day, they continue to contribute to the growth of iSyst GmbH and its development. To express our gratitude, we would like to give something back by supporting institutions or events which we consider important and close to our hearts.

Being diagnosed with cancer changes everything. It will be especially hard if children are affected. Near Heidelberg, the German cancer foundation for children runs the "Waldpiraten-Camp", a recreation facility which is unique in Germany and helps children suffering from cancer to regain courage and strength, or get back to normal life after successful recovery. We love to contribute to this great cause and give a little bit of hope.
Eight per minute. That is the number of children, especially girls, who vanish in India without a trace.
Only few children are found again and saved. Those children need lots of support and care to be able to get back into a normal life. For this reason, it is important to us to support BasisIndia e.V., who provide those children with a loving and caring home where mental wounds can heal and the children learn how to take charge of their own life, giving it a positive direction - without caste, religion or gender discrimination.
"Dogs save people" is the motto of the Rettungshundestaffel Franken, (rescue dog unit Franconia) because due to their sense of smell and instincts dogs are able to find lost people even in rough terrain and disaster areas. This important and life-saving task demands lots of dedication and training from the voluntary dog trainers - a commitment which we love to support. The two and four legged volunteers even came to our premises to accept their check.
The iSyst GmbH was one of four companies from the Nuremberg metropolitan area supporting the Georg-Simon-Ohm-Hochschule Nürnberg. They were financing an endowed chair "automation engineering/mechatronics" for the duration of five years at the Fachbereich Elektro¬technik Feinwerk¬technik Informations-technik (electrical and precision engineering and information technology faculty).
The donating companies were: Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH, the Nuremberg site of the Automotive Systems Division of the Continental AG, iSyst Intelligente Systeme GmbH as well as the Siemens AG Healthcare Sector.
All of them are working in the field of mechatronics and rely on a perfect interaction between hardware, software and mechanical systems.
The endowed chair was supposed to provide solutions which apply across sectors and can be transferred to the respective special fields. Here we come full circle and it definitely has its special charm that iSyst had the opportunity to give something back and support the institution from which the company once emerged.
Right on time for the holiday season FabLab Nürnberg received a €2,500 donation. With this earmarked donation iSyst financed comprehensive workshops for five school classes at FabLab Nürnberg. Present for the symbolic delivery were Prof. Dr. Hans Rauch, Christine Rauch and Harry Uhl, who presented FabLabs' chief executive Michael Niqué with a self-lasered check.
The center of culture and leisure BUNI is a meeting place for people with and without special needs. With our support for the open-air event "Rock at the BUNI" we would like to make a small contribution to support the integration of people with special needs.
We are fond of supporting the Sabaragamu Waisenhaus e.V., a registered orphanage association founded by one of our longtime business partners, Mr. Sarath Ukwattage. The association runs an orphanage in Sri Lanka. Sarath Ukwattage personally goes to bat for the orphans in Sri Lanka, so every donation gets through to those affected directly and without wasting a single cent.
iSyst was one of the sponsors supporting the charity concert in favor of the "Deutsche Multiple Sklerose Gesellschaft LV Bayern e.V." (German multiple sclerosis association) taking place in the city of Roth in May 2014. The association provides persons who suffer from multiple sclerosis and their relatives with local consultation, acts as intermediary with therapy institutions and promotes and assists support groups.
305 students of the Konrad-Groß-Schule joined the charity run "Running Konrad" in favor of the nursing center Hephata of the social services Stadtmission Nürnberg. The run was initiated to encourage the students' social education in the long term. As they had to run for donations, they learned to take over social responsibility for a facility for senior citizens in their neighborhood. iSyst gladly joined the effort and supported the event financially.
The iSyst GmbH sponsored the first personal jerseys of the junior team of the Gymnastics Association Johannis 1888 Nürnberg.
